NJ EMS Task Force Host Agency
North Brunswick First Aid and Rescue Squad is an original member of the New Jersey Emergency Medical Services Task Force. The NJEMSTF is a highly trained, equipped and specialized state EMS resource to support operations at major incidents and pre-planned events using a well-coordinated, robust all-hazards approach through the State’s Emergency Management System.
As a task force agency, we provide staff and equipment to support large or complicated incidents or events. We host a Medical Ambulance Bus, a force multiplier for multiple casualty incidents, hospital and long term care facility evacuations, and to support medical operations. The NJEMSTF Command Center trailer is also hosted and staffed along with a cache of communications and power generation equipment to enhance the command and control of local, regional, and state EMS scene operations.
