This past Saturday night, Jan 5, 2019 NBFARS celebrated their 63 years of service at the annual installation dinner at Ria Mar in South River. We celebrated our Deputy Chief and Administrator Lisa Grande’s 10 years of service and our newest trustee Linda Warhaftig’s 30 years with the organization. In light of these incredible women reaching such incredible milestones, President Amit Athavale took time to highlight how the numbers in women working in EMS have increased significantly. Specifically, at NBFARS, we have 55% female EMT’s working for the community. Pictures below.
