This past Saturday, NBFARS participated in a joint MCI/triage drill with North Stelton Volunteer Fire Company involving extrication. Rutgers EMS and RWJBarnabas Health with their MCRU (mass casualty response unit) were also present. Rescue technicians, fire fighters, EMT’s and cadets played their role in extricating and triaging patients out of a two car MVA with a school bus involved, treating in the MAB (medical ambulance bus), and taking care of our own personnel in rehab. The drill was a great success and a lot of learning and training was involved. Thank you to North Stelton for inviting us to participate and coordinating the logistics.
